Academy Evaluation
To join the SEMSA Academy, all players must first register online and attend .
To join our academy, players must register and attend an evaluation. All evaluation will be conducted during one of our sessions and will take place in the form of group training. Coaches will observe player performances and report back making the final decision.
Evaluation Days
Days: Tuesday and Thursday
TIME: 5:45-6:45pm
LOCATION: Elderberry Park, 2850 Macon Dr. Sacramento, CA 95835
Tryout details
Players are observed based on several conditions, including but not limited to, ball skill, intelligence, adaptability, competitiveness, work ethic, and coachability.
Upon arrival of tryouts, each player is required to check-in with one of the SEMSA staff. After check-in, he or she will be assigned a coach and directed where to go.
ATTIRE:
All players are required to wear shorts, t-shirt, soccer socks, soccer cleats, and shin guards to participate in the tryout. Players are encouraged to bring water; however, water will be provided.
AFter tryouts
After completion of the tryouts, players will be notified in approximately 2-3 business days whether he or she has been selected to participate in the Academy.
Players who are selected will receive notification via email and phone. The email that will be sent will give instructions on the next steps, prompting players to select a program (black, gold, white, green) that best serves their need.
